Syngenta Insecticides

Acelepryn

(Chlorantraniliprole)

0.5 Gal Bottle

Much More Than Unsurpassed Grub Performance

Acelepryn® insecticide provides golf course superintendents unmatched, season-long grub control with a single (8–16 fl oz/A) application in April or May. But Acelepryn is more than just outstanding grub control. That same application for grubs will control many key surface feeding pests including several species of caterpillars. For annual bluegrass weevil (ABW), apply 12–20 fl oz/A, which will provide an even broader spectrum of effective control.

Unlike other grub control materials, Acelepryn provide the best results when you apply early. The wide application window allows superintendents the flexibility to apply when the timing is right for them.

Acelepryn is a critical component of an effective, long-term strategy to control ABW. Not only does Acelepryn offer best-in-class control of ABW, it is an important component for resistance management as it offers a new mode of action for insect control. Acelepryn controls ABW small larvae that feed inside grass stems, while Provaunt® insecticide controls larger or older larvae feeding on the crown of grass plants.

• Season-long control of caterpillars including black cutworms, sod webworms and fall armyworms

• Excellent billbug and annual bluegrass weevil control

Provaunt

(Indoxacarb)

12 oz Bottle

Quick Control of Turf’s Most Damaging Insect Pests

European crane fly, annual bluegrass weevil, turf caterpillars (including armyworms, cutworms, and sod webworms) and mole crickets all pose a significant threat to turf.  Provaunt® WDG insecticide controls all of these pests and more to protect your turf and landscape ornamentals.

Targeted insects are controlled by feeding on treated foliage, by direct contact with spray droplets during application or by contact with active ingredient residue on leaf surfaces.  Pests treated with Provaunt stop feeding – within minutes to several hours – thus rapidly reducing feeding damage.  Once feeding stops, mortality typically occurs within 48 hours.

  • Provides control of late-instar larvae annual bluegrass weevil (ABW) and is an integral part of theWeevil Trak Optimum Control Strategy.

  • Provides 90 days of mole cricket control targeted at large nymphs and adults, supported with theProvaunt Mole Cricket Assurance program.

  • Novel mode of action makes Provaunt a critical component of preventing resistance with pests such as ABW and southern chinch bugs.
